Coming Back: Conversations on life after loss

Feb 6, 2019

Alica Forneret's mom was sick for most of her life. But her dad always reassured her that if things got bad enough, he would tell Alica when she and her sister needed to come home. That day came in October of 2016 when Alica's mom died in the ICU. This week, we're talking about how love sometimes looks like control and planning, the power of having people with similar losses around, how you can use your gifts to help someone who's grieving, and where Alica got the idea for her popular Dead Moms Club lapel pins. Also this week, I'm exploring the icky occurrence of using grief to hold other people hostage.
